This image appeared in the band's website (Dead Air Space) on 18 August 2005, two days after Thom announced the band were back in the studio. It's a page out of a book, possibly "The Complete Guide to Synthesizers" by Devarahi. According to Thom (in an interview published after In Rainbows was released), the idea of rainbows kept appearing in his notebook throughout that time.
